Inductive Sensors

Detection of metallic objects in a multitude of package sizes

Inductive Sensors

Inductive Proximity Sensors are used for detection of metal targets, typically in the under 50mm range. They function by emitting a warbling electro-magnetic sensing field. A target is recognized when the currents within the field change due to presence of an object. A major advantage in using proximity sensors is that they aren’t sensitive to dirt, oil, water, non-metallic particles, color or surface finish of the target, and their high tolerance to shock and vibration.

Standard Sensors

  • Housing sizes range from M4 – M50
  • Cubic, round, and rectangular
  • 2-, 3-, 4-wire

Special Duty Inductive Proximity Sensors

  • Impact
  • High Temperature
  • Ring Sensors
  • Diagnostics
  • SuperShorties
  • Extended Sensing Range
  • High Pressure
  • Hazardous Area
  • Welding
  • Washdown
  • Analog
